I am an extended prescriber from a health visiting background. I have had approximately four months experience working on a part time sessional basis in a general practice-shadowding a member of staff and running a triage clinic. I would dearly love to develop my skills as a practice nurse. I have approached the practice manager re:accessing courses. Though I get a positive response. There has been no follow up to my requests. This may be because I am not strickly an employee of the practice. Does anyone have any other suggestions on how I could access courses etc. I live in the west midlands region. Thank you.
